Answer to the most asked question; What is a rising sign? 

The time that you were born determines your rising sign or sometimes called ascendant. When I create a Birth chart (natal chart), I use the time to determine which zodiac sign would be rising in the eastern horizon at that particular time and location from the information received in the first part of your order form. Your sun sign tells the way you deal with the world. Your rising sign determines your personality and will determine the position of the other houses in your chart. This is why I will not create a birth chart with out this information. Some astrologers will, but in my opinion its one of the most important factors in creating an accurate interpretation of your chart. As for the short narratives that I write in the birthday horoscopes, I haven't taken these things into consideration. I use recurring themes  for that particular day.
